The total amount of laying hens includes laying hens that are over 16 weeks old, including productive poultry who produce eggs for consumption and breeding hens who produce eggs for hatching.
From 2021 onwards, the number of poultry birds and farms are not entirely comparable with data from previous years.
From 2021 onwards, the data collection has mainly accounted for farms that had 50 or more birds.
From 2022 onwards, the number of laying hens in the Satakunta Ely Centre and country as a whole are not entirely comparable with data from previous years.
